Marching Band: The first fall season practice is this coming Monday evening, August 19th from 6:40 - 9:00 PM on the new Track Field. We'll stay on this field as far as we can into the season, and will eventually make the switch to the Varsity Field. ALL band practices are mandatory except in the case of illness!
Mon. Aug 19th: 6:40 - 9:00 PM
Wed. Aug. 21st: 3:20 - 5:30 PM
Note to athletes: By placing Monday's band practice on Monday evenings it makes it possible for you to NOT miss your athletic practice. Cross Country participants have "always" missed one day of CC for marching band, so we will assume that will be on Wednesdays. Please speak to your coach concerning this!
*Other than personal illness or arrangements made far in advance (in other words... we should know about them by now), any other absence will be marked as unexcused!
6th Grade Band: Is currently in their orientation period and will need to bring their instruments next Monday. They will come home with a band hand book that will need to be reviewed by parents and signed-for! Please check the Centerburg Music Blog every week.
7th & 8th Grade Bands: Will need their instruments this Friday, Aug 16th.
Band Lockers and Locks: Each and every student in the middle and high school band program will be assigned to a band locker (cubby hole). There are no locks on these cubby holes but students are welcome to bring a lock from home (preferably a keyed lock - much quicker to open) to place on their locker.
