Congratulations... to the cast and crew of "Newsies"!  Absolutely stellar performances!  Kudos!  Brava!  Bravo!   This Week: Monday:          High School Jazz Band from 7:00-8:30 PM Tuesday:         CHS Colorguard Recruitment Clinic from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Thursday:     Middle School Percussion Night from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday:        High School Drum Line AND Pit Percussion     MANDATORY !! 7 - 8:30 Upcoming Events... Monday, March 7th...  6:00 PM... Marching Band "New Member" Welcome Pizza Party and pep rally with " the band ".  Sign-up in the band room!  $5 per band member!    New members are FREE !    

 Week of February 24th - 29th Thursday:     Percussion Night and Drum line Practice CANCELED ! Friday:          Opening Night of Newsies (The Musical) Saturday:     Performance #2 of Newsies Sunday:           OWU (Ohio Wesleyan Univ.) Percussion Hang #2 (2-4 PM) - bus leaves at 1 PM!  (permission slips due by Friday). CANCELED !   Sorry!  Not enough students registered! Sunday:           Final Matinee Performance of Newsies - Don't miss it!

 This Week's Music Happenings... Monday, 14th:     Happy Valentine's Day!    YES, WE HAVE JAZZ BAND AT 7 PM !  "IF" you are involved in the musical and will have a time conflict. LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY.   We only have a few more practices until we need to perform in concerts and festivals!!! Thursday, 17th:    Middle School Percussion Night:  6-7 PM. ( Mallets and drum set this week).   Thursday, 17th:    High School Drum Line from 7:00 - 8:30 PM!

  Attention all HS Drum Line Members...   Don't forget that tomorrow (Sunday) is the Drum Line Field Trip to OWU (Ohio Wesleyan University) for the percussion clinic.  The bus leaves at 1 PM .  Even if you didn't not get your permission slips turned in you may still attend if your folks write me a note!!!    See ya tomorrow!!!

Your permission slips for the Feb. 13th OWU (Ohio Wesleyan University) Sunday afternoon drum clinic are due BY Monday, Feb. 7th .  If I don't get a 90% response from the drum line I'll need to cancel!
