Looks like this is the end... Congratulations! to the marching band for a finishing-up a super season!  Everybody raised the bar this year!  We're already planning for next season! Away Game at Cardington:  Buses leaver at 5:30 PM Advanced Percussion ("Indoor Percussion")  TONIGHT!  Monday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM High School Jazz Band :  TONIGHT!!!  Monday - From 7:00 - 8:30 PM (STAGE) Middle School Bands :  This is week #1 of recording your 2 book examples and attaching them to your Google Classroom!  Recordings are due BY 12:00 midnight on Saturdays!  20 points each!!! OSU Marching Band Field Trip :  Nov. 1st - leaving at 8:30 AM.  See the participant list on the white board! Bands of America / Dr. Tim Overnight Field Trip to Indianapolis, IN. - Permission slips and $99 payments are due this week !!  That means NOW! Checks are to be made payable to the CENTERBURG MUSIC BOOSTERS .

Weekly update: This Friday is Senior Night! Wednesday:  Marching Band Practice:  3:30 - 5:30 PM Friday:   Marching Band Practice:  3:30 - 4:30 PM - Followed by dinner ( Pit Percussion!!) Saturday:  Utica Band Show - begins at 7:00 PM (Utica High School Field) (Spectator gates open at 6:00 PM ) Band member report time:  5:00 PM - load trailer and POLISH SHOES!  5:30 PM - Leave Band line-up @ 6:50 PM  (Centerburg is performing last, but drum line will be performing a couple choice selections! Jazz Band and Indoor Percussion:  Begins next Monday evening! Jazz Band - Stage:  From 7:00 - 8:30 PM Indoor Percussion - Band Room:  From 6:00 - 7:00 PM . ( Everybody who is in PIT or DRUMLINE is automatically a part of the indoor percussion - as well as a few new faces! )

Just some last minute info about this evening's marching band festival: Band member report time:  4 PM (Check uniforms for proper pant leg length and SHINE SHOES!) Buses leave at 4:30 PM Address:  New Albany Eagle Stadium - 7520 Fodor Rd., New Albany, OH. Food trucks open at 5:30 PM Opening Ceremony begins at 6:50 PM Bands begin at 7:00 PM Centerburg is 8th on the performance line-up (out of 10 bands) Exact performance time is hard to tell.  I'd guess around 8PM?!

ATTENTION MARCHING BAND MEMBERS... This Friday morning we all need to meet at the Varsity Field BY 5:45   " AM " for a live broadcast of NBC's Morning Show!   The event begins exactly at 6:00 AM, and you'll need both your instrument AND flip books!!! More information given in class! Mr. Porter has purchased 20 dozen doughnuts, OJ and hot chocolate for everyone!     😎
