  Announcements: Thank you to all those students and parents who assisted in one way or other with the mattress fundraiser this past weekend.  We truly appreciate all that you do! Monday :   High School Jazz Band 7:00 - 8:30 PM Wednesday :  Pep Band 6:15 (pizza and soda) followed by basketball game at 7:30 PM.   Thursday :  After school drum line and middle school advanced percussion 3:00 - 4:30 PM NOTE:  Mr. D. may be out of town for a professional conference during the school day, but will be back at school by 3:00 PM for the percussion activities!!

  Week of Jan. 22nd - 27th: Congratulations to all OMEA Solo & Ensemble Soloists and Ensemble Performers!  Everyone did a super job this past Saturday at Granville High School.  Thanks for going the extra mile and taking it to the next level.  We're proud of you! Monday:    High School Jazz Band 7:00-8:30 PM Thursday: Indoor Percussion & Advanced Middle School Percussion 3:00-4:30 PM Saturday:   Annual Mattress Sale Fundraiser (Auditorium) 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

  Week of January 15th - 19th: Monday:   No Classes Tuesday:   Faculty PD Day - No Classes Wednesday:  Mr. D. is free after school to assist with solos or flute trio .   Thursday:   Indoor Percussion / Advanced Middle School Percussion (finishes at 4:30 PM) Friday:    Final OMEA Solos run-throughs with the piano accompanist - Either period 7, period 8 or between 3 and 4 PM after school. Saturday:  OMEA Solo/Ensemble Adjudication at Granville HS .  The bus will leave CHS at 9:30 AM .  ALL participants must complete, sign and return the permission slip AND transportation questions by Friday!  REMEMBER:  " if" you are choosing not to ride the bus then only "YOUR" parent may transport you to and from (school district policy and insurance logistic) . Also...Students (even over age 18) may not drive themselves as this is a school-sponsored event .  (please dress nice....shirt.ties, dress, skirt, nice shoes, etc...)

  Band Camp Dates:  2024 Some of the bands were already notified of next season's camp schedule, but we needed to make a revision.  The correct dates are July 22nd-26th and July 28th - August 2nd .  Thanks you!  Please mark your calendars . Please remember that band camp is mandatory for all band members!

 This week:  Jan. 8th - 12th...  🔍 Announcements: *  We've been ha ving some technical difficulties with our Centerburg Music Website so please be patient.  The marching band registration forms should be ready some time this coming week.  Please don't use last year's! *  Initial solo coaching for all OMEA soloists will take place tomorrow (Mon. Jan 8th)  on stage with the accompanist.  Students have signed-up for either 7th period, 8th period or after school.  Please be as prepared as you can.  We'll help you... relax! *  OMEA Solo/Ensemble Adjudications will take place at Granville HS 2 weeks from now on Saturday, Jan. 20th.   A bus will be provided although students may ride with their parents if they'd prefer.  Families are invited to watch the performances. Schedules should be ready sometime this week! *  Monday:  Period 7, 8 and after school:  OMEA solo coaching with the accompanist on stage. *  Monday:  HS Jazz Band (stage):  7:00PM - 8:30 PM. *  Tuesday
