Monday:  High School Jazz Band 7:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday: First Marching Band Spring Training + New member Welcome Meet and Greet Night :   6:30 -8:15 PM.  (All current and future marching band members are expected to attend!) Wednesday:   Color Guard Practice and Try-outs:  3:00 - 5:00 PM Thursday:  Marching Band drum line and Pit Percussion + Advanced Middle School percussion 3:00 - 4:30 PM. Looking Ahead... Monday, April 29th:  High School Jazz Band 7:00-8:00 PM   Tuesday, April 30th:  HS Marching Band (BRASS, WOODWINDS only) Spring Training:  6:30-8:30 PM (mandatory)   This is for next season's marching band members!   ATTENTION ALL MARCHING BAND MEMBERS: We will need to postpone the first Marching Band Meeting until next Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30 PM .  We find ourselves unprepared, and at this point only 50% of the band can be there.  See you next Tuesday !! This will also be a practice so be sure to bring your instruments!

This week... Congatulations to the CHS Jazz Band and everyone who helped and participated in this past weekend's Annual CHS Jazz "Jumbalaya Jam" Festival.  We had 14 bands perform, and enjoyed some homemade chili and Jumbalaya.  Kudos to the music booster parents who put together some super eats!  The full Livestream can be found on the Centerburg Music Facebook page!! Looking ahead... Tuesday, April 16th:   6:30 - 8:15 PM:  Annual Marching New Member "Get-to-Know-You" Meet and Greet Night.  All current marching band members are being asked to donate $5 for pizza and drinks.  Mr. D. will buy the other goodies!   Finally... We need helpers in the kitchen, concession stand and at the door selling tickets at this Friday night's Jazz Festival.  Please shoot Chuck Dettmar or Danielle Cole an e-mail if you are able to help

  Thank you to all the students and parents who have turned-in their Payments and Permission Slips.  "IF" you have not turned in your things please do so by next Tuesday!  (SEE BELOW) Marching Band:  All Payments are due by 3:00 PM today (Friday, April 5th).  "IF" you are having a financial situation or cash flow issue please contact Mr. D. at chuck.dettmar@centerburgschools.org and we'll work out something for you! Middle School 7th & 8th Band & Choir:  Permission slips and trip payments are due by 3:00 PM today !  :"IF" you have not turned yours in we will give you until next Tuesday!  Thanks!!
