Happy Holidays! Here's some more information...

Congratulations on a super concert season!  Great job everybody!

🎄

OK... Here we go:

1.  We need people for pep band (basketball band). While we had 13 students come out, play and do a super job last evening, I felt sorry for the 1 drummer who attended.  Where is everybody?  Our next game is a boy's game tomorrow night (Friday)... warm-up is at 6 PM...  We need ya!  Come on out!

2.  Drum Major Try-Outs...  If you are contemplating becoming a drum major for next season's marching band please let Mr. D. know either now or by the end of the holiday break.  Drum major training will begin in mid-January, and try-outs will be in early March.  Please keep in mind that any student accepted as a new drum major is required to attend either the DMA (Drum Major Academy OR the "Music for All" Summer Music Symposium - Drum Major Academy.  The music boosters will reimburse up to 50% depending on the cost!  See Mr. D. ASAP!

3.  High School Jazz Band will resume practices on Monday evening at 7 PM as soon as we return from holiday break!

4.  Marching Drum Line (for both the St. Patrick's Parade AND for next season) will begin on the first Thursday we return from holiday break - (Time:  TBA).   If you are planning on beinga part of next season's drum line AND/OR be marching in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in NYC then you are required to attend.  Attendance and participation will be accounted for.  We have some new cadences and need to learn the music.  Work will not be an excuseIf you miss practices without a timely notification (illness or emergency only) from your parents you will not march.  Thanks for your anticipated cooperation! 😀

*. Please don't forget your NYC Trip Payments.  ALL due by Jan. 6th!

5.  Have a nice break!  See ya on the rebound!
