It's Concert Season
Congratulations!
... to all of our esteemed marching band members and their families for participating in a super, fantastic, groovy and far-out Marching Band Awards and reception last evening! We have heard nothing but positive feedback from the event, and obviously plan on making it an every year event. Special thanks goes out to our super-dee-duper Centerburg Music Boosters for setting up the reception table and providing all the coffee, paper products, utensils and clean-up!!! The Music Faculty wishes everyone and their families a nice holiday season!
Winter Concerts:
Tuesday, December 12th - Elementary and 6th Grade (Bands and Choirs)
Thursday, December 14th - 7th & 8th Grade Band and Choir
Monday, December 18th - High School Band & Choir Concert
Student report times for all concerts is 6:30 PM ( Concerts are mandatory and count as a major performance test for all levels)
Other Concerts:
Saturday, December 2nd - OMEA District 10 Honors Band - 3:30 PM (MVNU Chapel)
Other Upcoming Music Events:
High School OMEA Solo/Ensemble Adjudications - Saturday, February 3rd
( Solos and Ensembles to be organized prior to the holiday break)
High School OMEA Large Group Adjudication - Friday & Saturday, March 2nd and 3rd
(This event is held at and hosted by the Centerburg Music Department) Student participation is mandatory.
