 Week of November 6th - 10th:

Congratulations to the following band members for being accepted to the OMEA (Ohio Music Educator's Association) District X Honor Band...

Middle School:  Audrey Carlisle - clarinet,  Khloe Cherry - french horn & Savannah Garcia - flute

High School:  Tressie Beverly - clarinet, Dylan Meier - trombone & Marco Pedraza - euphonium

*  The OMEA Honors Band Concert will take place on Saturday, December 2nd in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University at 3:30 PM.  All are welcome free of charge!

*  OWU (Ohio Wesleyan University) Honor Band Nominations:  Information about the Feb. 16th & 17th Honor Band experience has been distributed to those students who have expressed an interest,  Nomination sheets are due [signed by parents] in the band office by this Thursday, November 9th so Mr. D. can complete the online Nomination Registration and get the ball rolling.

* There will be a meeting on Monday at the end of 8th period (2:45 PM)  for all upperclassmen and/or student leaders in the band who will attending the Bands of America trip to Indianapolis this coming Friday.  All logistics and procedures will be discussed and permission/release forms will be distributed.

Monday:  HS Jazz Band 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Thursday:  Indoor Winter Percussion & Advanced Middle School Percussion:  3:00 - 4:45 PM.  Please take note of the time change.

Friday:  Bands of America trip leaves at 7:00 AM
