Week of August 24th - 28th

This Week's Practices:

Full Marching Band:  Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Drum Line:  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 - 4:00 PM

Pit Percussion:  Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM

Color Guard:  Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Announcements:

*ALL Marching Band Picture Packages (orders) were due last Friday BUT we'll accept them until this Wednesday!  "IF" you missed the picture taking don't worry.  We'll announce when make-ups will be!

*The Marching Band will perform for all 3 home games but will not be traveling to away games.  The first game is on September 11th.

*The Marching Band will participate in virtual band festivals and competitions this fall through OMEA (Ohio Music Educators Association) and USBands, a branch of the YEA (Youth Education in the Arts).  We're hoping to secure the Varsity Field for one evening in September and one in October to have "LIVE" shows for parents and families.  Then we'll video our performance and send it in to both OMEA and USBands for their panel of adjudicators to see, comment-on, rate and maybe even score!  We'll keep you updated as we are just now learning about all that will work!

ALL BAND MEMBERS IN ALL GRADES SHOULD BE JOINING THEIR BAND'S GOOGLE CLASSROOM.  THIS IS NOT JUST FOR THOSE STUDENTS BEING TAUGHT AT HOME!

High School Band Members will receive the class code on Monday in band class!
