Band Updates...

 Updates:   Week of August 10th...

SUPER Band Camp everybody!!!  We couldn't have asked for more!  Congratulations!

1)  IMPORTANT:  ... Band students electing home instruction  When you come in to school to pick-up your text books and/or Chromebooks this week you will need to pick up an INSTRUCTION SHEET for band assignments!  This is true for all students in grades 6-12!

2)  The first evening marching band rehearsal is slated for next Monday evening, August 17th from 6-8:30 PM.  There is a good chance we'll have our band pictures taken on that day as well.  We'll let you know for sure as soon as we hear back from the photographer!  "IF" we do then we'll begin taking individual photos at 4:30 PM.  You'll need to wear your khakis and band polos! Watch for the update!

3)  ALL band students in grades 6-12 will need to utilize (3) online websites to complete assignments this year.  The same assignments will be given to online students as in-school students.  They are:  Google Classroom,  SmartMusic and FlipGrid.  They all have a different purpose and they'll make band much, much easier!  The school has agreed to pay for 50% of the subscription to SmartMusic so each and every band member will need to send in a check (NO CASH) in the amount of $5 - made payable to Centerburg Schools no later than September 1st!
