Just a couple last minute switcheroos...!

Just a couple changes...

The mini camp schedule will be followed as planned except for the following:  (below)

       a) On Thursday, July 29th we'd like to have a brief meeting with all parents in the auditorium at 4 PM.  You'll be picking up your kids anyway so it's a perfect time for us to address a couple important things.  See ya there!

        b)  On Friday, July 30th, when the new members arrive for their band test at 2:30 PM, we'd like to have them stay for a little more marching practice until 4:30 PM.  

        c)  Section leaders... following your section leader training on Friday, July 30th, we'd like you to remain with the new members and work on some marching fundamentals.

        d)  Finally, we've replaced this year's Hiawatha pool/pizza event with something I think everybody's gonna dig...  The first ever "REAL" Band Camp Campfire and Pizza Party!!!   (SEE BELOW!).   


What:  Band Camp Campfire and Pizza Night!

When:  Friday, July 30th from 8-10 PM.

Where:  Out by the old baseball/softball field - near the bus garage - behind the elementary school - adjacent to the football field... just follow the smoke... you'll find us!

What should I bring?...  A camp chair, lawn chair.... or a sofa, marshmallows and a toasting stick if you want, or stuff to make S'mores with... whatever!   AND... plenty of good stories... including some haunted ones.  "Maybe" Mr. D. will even share his famous band camp scary story with you.  You might want to bring a blanket to hide under!

Why?.........Why not?   This a a great chance to really get to know one another before we all jump out on the field to learn the show.  We REALLY want everyone there!!!
