Homecoming Week Activities/Schedule

 Homecoming Week:

Wednesday:  Homecoming Parade: All marching band members report to the band room BY 5:30 PM.  The Homecoming Parade begins in the bus pick-up / drop-off area at 6 PM!  Please wear your Band Polos! NO EVENING BAND PRACTICE!

Thursday:  Last after school marching band practice (This is a big one so if you usually attend your after school athletic practice please try to ask your coach to be excused).  We want the Homecoming Show to be a big one + we're performing the entire festival show, not just the football show!

Friday:  3:15 - 4:00:  Run through of the Pre-Game Show ONLY!  ON THE FIELD.  This is also the 7th Grade Band Night so please help us by guiding them in the right direction, and by letting them share your flip books in the stands!  We'll bring a rack of black music stands so you can all share with the younger kids!  Be yourselves, but don't get overly crazy...we don't want to "scare" any of next year's marching band prospects....we want to excite them about being in the band!

In the future:

Saturday, October 18th:  The "Last Blast" Band Show in Xenia, OH.  Please find information and online ticket sales emailed to you via Google Classroom.

Thursday Nov. 13th and Friday, Nov. 14th:  Upperclassmen and student leaders trip to the Bands of America Grand National Championships and Student Leadership Workshop in Indianapolis (Info and overall cost to be determined this week).

Information concerning future play-off games:  ATTENTION Parents and Band Members.... so, it obviously looks like we will most likely be involved in "at least" one round of play-off games post season....and most likely going into November.  Please remember that your marching band obligation goes as long as the season goes.  We do not know what is held in store for us at this point, but if our team plays then we play.  "IF" there winds up being a play Off game on Friday, November 14th then we will attend as a pep band in the stands only, as all the upperclassmen will not have not yet returned from their trip to Grand Nationals.  We will cross that bridge when we get to it!
