More Marching Band Reminders...
#1. This week begins our Fall Practice Schedule. Practices are: Wednesdays from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and Thursdays from 3:15 - 5:00 PM
#2. Fridays there is band practice from 3:15-4:30 PM followed by trailer loading, band dinner, and suiting-up for the performances.
#3 Proper Marching Band Practice attire: Shorts, t shirts and sneakers. No long pants, boots, crocs, etc... All our teams change and dress appropriately for their practices...and we're no different.
#4 Just a reminder that all students registered for the HS Band class and required to participate in marching band...unless they have received special permission from the administration due to an illness or major scheduling conflict. Marching band is part of the band curriculum and is not an extra-curricular activity.
#5 1st Home game against Utica this Friday...Polos and khakis!!!
PLEASE NOTE: As per our recent agreement with the school administration, band members will need to be driven by their parents (or another parent carpool) over to the varsity field from the music area on Fridays. Band members will also need to be picked up the same way from the field and transported back to the high school (or home ) by their parents or carpool as well. Band members who drive ,may transport themselves, but may not take any other student passengers.
