This Week in Music...May 12th - 16th

 Congratulations to the Middle School Concert Band and Choir for a super performance in this past weekend's "Trills and Thrills" Music Festival in Wilmington, Ohio.  We also enjoyed a wonderful day in King's Island!  Kudos to all!

Monday, 5/12:  Concert Music turn-in day for all the bands (during their assigned band periods)

Tuesday, 5/13:  Senior Awards Night

Wednesday, 5/14:  Annual Marching Band Parents Meeting (for all parents of next season's marching band members)  6:15 - 7:00 PM - Band Room.

Wednesday, 5/14:  Last brass and woodwinds spring training session for next season's marching band.  7:00 - 8:30 PM.

Thursday, 5/15:  Marching Band Drum line and Front Ensemble Rehearsal.  3:15 - 4:15 PM.

Thursday, 5:15:  Color Guard practice 3:15 - 5:15 PM

Sunday, 5/18:  Graduation Ceremony 3:00 PM.  High School Symphonic Band students should arrive in their Sunday best at 2:00 PM - Tuning and warm - up to begin at 2:30 PM.

Next Week:

Wednesday, 5/21:  Band Awards Ceremony (during 8th period)...followed by parade practice!

Wednesday, 5/21:  Memorial Day Parade Band practice 3:00 - 4:30 PM

Thursday, 5/22:  Marching Band Drum Line and Front Ensemble Rehearsal  3:15 - 4:15 PM

Thursday, 5/22:  Color Guard Practice   3:15 - 5:15 PM

Friday, 5/23:  Last day of classes

Monday, 5/26:  Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony - 9:30 Trailer load and 10:15 Meet at church and 10:45 step off (all current marching band members are required to attend).  Immediately following the parade all school-owned marching band instruments must be returned to the band room where band members will need to sign-off on them.
