Big Week.......Lots of Info!!

 Week of March 17th - 21st...

Universal Florida Trip Student and Parent Info:  Is all available on the "Universal" Google Classroom.  Paper copies of the itinerary and packing lists have also been distributed to students, and more are sitting on the band room piano if needed!

Monday, 3/17:  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  The Middle School Jazz Band will practice from 3:15 to 4:00 PM and the High School Jazz Band will practice from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

Tuesday, 3/18:  Band and Choir Large Ensembles Concerts.  The middle School concert begins at 6:30 PM and the High School concert begins at 7:00 PM

Wednesday, 3/19:  The high school symphonic band, along with the 6th grade band and all 4th and 5th grade students, will be participating in a recruitment assembly in the auditorium during periods 7 and 8 (1:15 - 2:45 PM)  This is an 'in school' field trip for the 6th grade band and any and all band students in grades 9-12.

Thursday, 3/20:  There will be no marching percussion, front ensemble or drum major practices this afternoon.  All Universal Trip Participants should bring their luggage to the music hallway when they arrive at school in the morning, tag everything, and then place their luggage on the stage and then REPORT TO THEIR CLASSES until the end of 6th period.  Then they should come to the music area to retrieve their instruments and luggage to load the bus.

Upcoming Events:

Tuesday, April 1st:  First Marching Band Spring Training Member "Meet and Greet" MANDATORY unless attending an athletic event of some sort.  7:00 - 8:30 PM.

Wednesday, April 2nd:  HS Jazz Band 7-9 PM  (dress rehearsal for Ashland Univ. Jazz Field Trip)

Thursday, April 3rd:  Ashland Univ. Jazz Festival - 8 AM - 10 PM (Field Trip & Concert)

Friday, April 11th:  Annual Centerburg "Jumbalaya Jam" HS Jazz Festival at CHS ($7 adults / $5 seniors)
