  This week in music... Monday:   Middle School Jazz Band from 3:15 - 4:00 PM Monday:  High School Jazz Band from 6:00 - 7:30 PM ( Yes, this is a change in time !) Tuesday:   2025 Trojan Pride Marching Band Spring Training Kick-off " Meet and Greet " Night. ..7:00 - 8:30 PM - for ALL new and returning members AND outgoing seniors! Thursday: Ashland University Jazz Festival "FIELD TRIP" Thursday: NO after-school Percussion Practice . (Due to Ashland Univ. field trip) Next Week... Monday:  Middle School Jazz band 3:15 - 4:00 PM Monday:  High School Jazz band. 7:00 - 8:30 PM Thursday: Marching Band Drum Line and Front Ensemble Practice.  3:15-4:30 PM Friday:  Centerburg Invitational " Jumbalaya Jam " High School Jazz Festival .  BOTH the middle and high school jazz bands will be performing and will receive FREE dinner that night.  All performance times yet to be determined (12 bands in performance including the MVNU Jazz Band)....

  Week of March 17th - 21st... Universal Florida Trip Student and Parent Info:  Is all available on the "Universal" Google Classroom .  Paper copies of the itinerary and packing lists have also been distributed to students, and more are sitting on the band room piano if needed! Monday, 3/17:  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  The Middle School Jazz Band will practice from 3:15 to 4:00 PM and the High School Jazz Band will practice from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Tuesday, 3/18:  Band and Choir Large Ensembles Concerts.   The middle School concert begins at 6:30 PM and the High School concert begins at 7:00 PM Wednesday, 3/19:  The high school symphonic band, along with the 6th grade band and all 4th and 5th grade students, will be participating in a recruitment assembly in the auditorium during periods 7 and 8 (1:15 - 2:45 PM)  This is an 'in school' field trip for the 6th grade band and any and all band students in grades 9-12.   This Week in Music: *  Middle School Band and Choir permission slips and payments for the Kings Island Performance Trip are now due! *  The online registration for the 2025 CHS Marching Band will close this Tuesday, March 4th at 11:59 PM .  After that it will no longer be available on the music website.  If you have been procrastinating now's the time! *  Congratulations to all the middle school band students who participated in the 1st CMS Jazz Band Practice last Monday!  Super job...especially for a first practice...this week Mr. D. bought you all some really cool new music... that's easier!
