Marching Band week of Oct. 9th through 14th

 Looks like this is [almost] the end...!

Congratulations Trojan Pride Marching Band for a terrific performance at  the Mid States Marching Band Competition in Mason, OH!   Super job everyone!  Hope you all had a good time, and saw some cool stuff! 👍

NOTE(S) TO EVERYONE:  There is a very strong possibility that the football team "may" be involved in at least one play-off game this season [depending on the outcome of the next 2 games].  The first play-off game would happen on Friday, October 27th, and "could" be a couple hours away....again, getting home around midnight.  Nothing is definite yet!

*  Monday evening and Wednesday afternoon marching band practices are now over.  The only practices  we have left are every Friday from 3:15 - 4:30 (before football games)  👀

Final Marching Band Show of the Season..

This Saturday, October 14th (beginning at 7 PM) is the New Albany Marching Band Show.  Please see details below:

* Band member report time to school:  4:00 PM (polish horns and shoes) - No food provided.

* Buses leave at 5:00 PM

* The opening ceremonies are at 7:00 PM at the New Albany HS Stadium.  Tickets available at the gate.

*  Concessions:  Various food trucks available to spectators and band members ($).

*  There is no exact time that CHS takes the field, but all the bands sit on the home side and cheer-on each other.  This is a show, not a competition

FINAL NOTES:

* High School Jazz Band Monday evening practices will begin on Monday, Oct. 16th and will go from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  Attendance will be taken, and all participants must have the course "Jazz Band" on their student schedules.  Even though it meets outside of regular school hours, jazz band is a graded, credited class and attendance is mandatory unless the student is on the school's absentee list that day ( or involved in a Centerburg High School sanctioned sporting competition).
