It's USA Parade Week!

 This Week:  June 19th - 23rd + 24th

Happy Mid-Summer Everyone!  Here are some updates and schedules...

ANNOUNCEMENT:  The instrument inventory is now complete.  If you need to sign-out an instrument for the season you may do so this Thursday, June 22nd between the hours of 10 AM and 8 PM OR Saturday morning, June 24th between the hours of 8 AM and 9:30 AM.  If you do not come in to pick up your instrument you'll need to wait until the first day of mini band camp on July 24th!

Thursday, June 22nd:  Drum Line Practice (NO PIT PERCUSSION)...cymbal players please report to practice!  6-8 PM.  NOTE:  We'd appreciate as many drummers from last season participating, as our new members have not yet learned the cadences, stand tunes, fight song and Grand Ol' Flag.  Thanks!

HELP!   We need transportation help...!  We need to get 2 big tubas in big cases out to Buckeye Brass and Winds in Plain City sometime this week.  If you have a vehicle big enough and can deliver these the band will be forever grateful.  Mr. D. only has a sedan with a small trunk!  Again... Friday, June 23rd:  Parade Band Practice  (All returning band members + ANY newbies who would like to get their feet wet playing with the band!  The more the merrier!  Practice goes from 5-7 PM this Friday!  See ya then!

Saturday, June 24th:  PARADE DAY!  Yay!  Load trailer at 9:15 AM - Line-up (6 across) at 9:45 AM - Parade steps-off at 10 AM.  Parade tunes include the FIGHT SONG and GRAND OL' FLAG.  Red polos and khakis with white sneakers.  

Get ready for the first day of mini band camp... July 24th  AND the first day of regular camp... Sunday evening, July 30th.  Please be sure to have your 3-ring binder AND plastic sleeves.  See ya then!
