This week and the rest of the season!!!!

 A#1...  All families should have received their St. Pat's trip packet and banquet info. in the mail by now.  PLEASE complete and sign the trip questionnaire and return it to the band office BY this Wednesday, Oct. 5th.  We will  tabulate all the responses on Wednesday evening so there is no time or space for these being returned even one day late.  It's simply that time is of the essence because we need to have reservations and deposits completed by the end of the week!! 

This Week:

Monday:  Marching Band Practice from 6-7:30 followed by an upperclassmen/section leader meeting at 7:45.

Wednesday:  NO MORE WEDNESDAY AFTER SCHOOL MARCHING BAND PRACTICES!  Jazz Band begins today in the auditorium from 3:15-4:45 PM. 

Friday:  Marching Band Practice from 3:15-4:30 PM followed by trailer loading and dinner (this week it's a TACO BAR sponsored by the drum line!)

7:00 PM:  Away game at Danville.

Looking ahead:  Our last 2 band festivals are next weekend.  Please mark your calendars and arrange/re-arrange your schedules so you're sure to be there!!

Saturday, October 15th:  New Albany Band Festival (evening)

Sunday, October 16th:  Highland Scots "Pumpkin Palooza" Band Show (early afternoon)

FINALLY...   Play-Off Games...  It's pretty obvious by now that we will be involved in at least one or two play-off games.  ALL marching band members are required to attend all games, and we will let everyone know what is transpiring as soon as we hear.  With these games, nothing is in stone until just a few days prior to the game so please be patient.  The band, however, will only practice on Friday afternoons (if at all) before loading the buses and leaving.
