This Friday - Logistics

 Happy 1st Football Game!  

Here's what this Friday looks like for the band...

1) We are still in our summer uniform for this game (Red Polo Shirt, Khaki shorts, white socks and sneakers). ALL NEW SHOES, POLOS AND T-SHIRTS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO BAND MEMBERS AT THIS WEDNESDAY'S 5 PM PRACTICE!

2)  We have begun our Friday night band dinners, and by now your section leader should have told you what week your section is bringing dinner, and you're now in discussion of what you'll be bringing.  THIS WEEK WE'LL KEEP IT SIMPLE AND DO PIZZA AND DRINKS SO PLEASE BRING $3 TO THIS WEDNESDAY'S BAND PRACTICE.

3). The schedule for our typical Friday nights is posted on the Marching Band Presentation (that I know you've all viewed), but let me run through this Friday...

a). Wear your band polo to school to support the band and the team.

b). 3:15 - 4:30 PM:  Marching Band Practice on the new track infield.

c)  4:30 PM:  Load the trailer.  Be sure your flip book is in the slots so we remember to pack it for you.  We'll bring some music stands this week, but if you still need one, you'll need to buy a LYRE for your instrument before the next football game!  That holds the music on your instrument!

d). 4:45 PM:  Dinner (Pizza and soda). PLEASE BRING IN $3 FOR PIZZA ON WEDNESDAY

e)  5:45 PM:  Load the buses. (BUS SIGN-UP SHEETS WILL BE ON THE WHITE BOARD ON WEDNESDAY!)

f). 7:00 PM. Game begins - Band members are not to go home with their parents or friends.  YOU GO ON THE BUS, YOU COME BACK ON THE BUS!

g)  10:00 PM? (approx):  Return to CHS, unload trailer and put away instruments.

OK, that's it!   Go Trojan Pride Marching Band!
