Vacation Week Update!

 Vacation Week Update...😀


Marching Band Mailers:  Have been sent home.  Inside you'll find 1) Fall Season Permission Form, 2) Emergency Medical Form, 3) Dry cleaning / Supply & Equipment Order Form and 4) some payment instructions.  These forms are due no later than the last day of school!  "IF" we do not receive your forms and payments we cannot include you in our band planning, and will assume you're not participating.  Please turn your things in "EARLY"!  It would really be appreciated, as we need to begin making purchases for the season!

Springtime Drumline, Pit Percussion and Guard practices are mandatory for any band member planning on participating in marching band in the upcoming season.  "IF" you have a schedule conflict we need to be contacted by you or your folks well prior to the practice.  We don't tolerate no-shows!  Thanks!!!

Three Springtime Evening Marching Band Practices:  These are mainly "get-to-know-you" sessions as well as sectional meetings - maybe a little full band practice.  Any marching band member expecting to participate this fall should attend these three practices.  They are Wednesdays, April 14th, April 28th and May 12th.  All 3 practice "begin" at 7:15 PM - which means band members should get to school by 7:00 PM!  Thanks!

Spring Concerts:  Both the Choral and Instrumental Concerts will once again we recorded during the school day and placed on the school's web page for families to watch at their leisure.  Hopefully next school year we'll have "in-person" concerts again, but only time will tell!

Finally...  Yes, the music department is forging-ahead with plans for a 2022 trip to Disney World where the bands and choirs will perform at different venues, including a Main Street Parade.  The trip is slated for March 24th through 29th.  We are still in the pre-approval process with the administration and the BOE, BUT...  we need to "get the info. out there to you because the registration is open beginning next Tuesday and slots are going to go very fast!  The cost per student (quad-occupancy) is $1045.00.  The payment process is simple (by the month over the course of the entire summer and next school year) and is done right on the Bob Rogers Travel web page.  Don't worry... we'll let you all know exactly what where and when to do everything!  No need to do anything yet besides start talking about whether this is something you will be signing-up for!
