ATTENTION ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND PARENTS...

IMPORTANT!

A, #1... We sincerely hope all is going well for you and your families, and that you are staying well and financially stable!   That is our biggest concern and wish!!!

IN ADDITION

While the online band instruction and grading is doing ok, it doesn't even come close to what we're able to do in music lessons and band rehearsals, so...

After the Spring break Mr. Dettmar is going to ask all band students and their parents to PLEASE make sure that the band method book (TRADITIONS OF EXCELLENCE BOOK I OR BOOK II) has been successfully DOWNLOADED onto "A" device (whatever you'd like!).  I announced to the students in their Google Classrooms that it "could" be their only way to actually play-along with a musical group for a while, depending on what transpires with the opening of school.

I DON'T WANT BAND STUDENTS "TURNED-OFF" TO BAND...

because all they're doing is practicing by themselves and turning-in written assignments!

THAT'S NOT "BAND" AND  COULD DECIMATE THE BAND PROGRAM!

Please help me to help your child by downloading the book examples so I can give some "meaningful" assignments to them - AND keep them excited about band.  ALL assignments after break will include playing-along with the downloaded sound tracks in the method book and band music!

ALL band music recordings can be found at "STANTONS SHEET MUSIC". Simply enter the name of the selection in the search box and play-along!
