Week of April 21st Online Assignments for middle and high school band students are continuing on Google Classroom but students "should" have created their own account on SmartMusic and joined their respective band classes.  "IF" YOU HAVE NOT JOINED YOUR CLASSES' GOOGLE CLASSROOM THEN YOU ARE NOT EVEN GETTING THE ASSIGNMENTS.   If you need a class code please let Mr. D. know! Join Band and Choir! :    PLEASE be sure to elect and band and/or choir for next year!  This thing is not going to last forever, and we DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!   We have so much to look forward to together.  Go Trojan Music! Happy Easter and Passover! We hope this communication finds you all well in this very strange of times! 😊 PLEASE READ ENTIRE MESSAGE BELOW!    VERY IMPORTANT ! This particular message is for HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND MEMBERS and has to do with the upcoming fall season...  The "usual" yearly marching band mailer containing all band registration papers, health forms and supply ordering is being placed on hold until we hear more from the school administration.  At this point, we ( the band directors, athletic directors, teachers and administrators ) really have no idea about a timeline OR about what the future holds for the remainder of the Spring, Summer and possibly Fall seasons. At this point you ( All 8th graders through 11th graders who will be in marching band this fall )  will soon receive a mailer containing A) HEALTH FORM,  B) PERMISSION SLIP/REGISTRATION FORM and C) COVER LETTER explaining what is currently transpiring, including some financial modificat

ATTENTION ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND PARENTS... IMPORTANT! A, #1... We sincerely hope all is going well for you and your families, and that you are staying well and financially stable!   That is our biggest concern and wish!!! IN ADDITION While the online band instruction and grading is doing ok, it doesn't even come close to what we're able to do in music lessons and band rehearsals, so... After the Spring break Mr. Dettmar is going to ask all band students and their parents to PLEASE make sure that the band method book ( TRADITIONS OF EXCELLENCE BOOK I OR BOOK II ) has been successfully DOWNLOADED onto "A" device (whatever you'd like!).   I announced to the students in their Google Classrooms that it "could" be their only way to actually play-along with a musical group for a while, depending on what transpires with the opening of school. I DON'T WANT BAND STUDENTS "TURNED-OFF" TO BAND... because all they'
