Announcements... #1.  Jazz Band will meet Monday night from 6:30 - 8:30 PM .  Sectionals will run from 6:30 'till 7:15 before we put the band together for another 45 minutes.  Some other teachers and professors will be here to run sectionals so please get here a little ahead of time!  #2.  Indoor Percussion :  Will meet from 6:00 - 7:30 on Monday night in the band room.  We have ordered our indoor show package and are hoping it arrives in time for practice! This week's Goings-on... Indoor Percussion:  Will meet Wednesday night from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Jazz Band:  Will meet Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:30 PM 7th & 8th Grade Band & Choir members - will bring home a flyer full of information about the May 16th music festival in Wilmington, OH and King's Island.

Great First Week Back Everybody! We were really impressed by the way that everybody jumped right back in.  Didn't see a lazy bone in the bunch..............well, maybe 1 or 2.  The OMEA Solo and Ensemble people are kickin' it and doing a super job, and the bands and choirs are taking it to the next level!! #1  Indoor Percussion:  will meet Monday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.   Students may be bringing home a permission slip for a trip to attend [as spectators] an indoor percussion competition (Date TBA) and will soon be starting their own indoor percussion show! #2 . High School Jazz Band:  will meet from 7:00 - 8:30 PM Monday evening .  Please practice the more difficult areas of your music beforehand.  We will be working on Lulu's Left Town and Reflections of Rio. #3 . Color Guard:  There will a meeting for all current color guard members (including seniors) at 6:00 PM on Monday evening in the choir room.  The meeting should take about 30 minutes. #4 . Ban

Happy New Year Everyone! We hope you had a nice vacation and found some time to relax and re-group so-to-speak.  In any case, we're gonna be jumping right back into action came Monday so please see some important announcements below! High School Jazz Band and Indoor Percussion:  Will meet this week on Monday evening as usual.  Indoor Percussion, however, will begin at 6:00 PM and will go until 7:30 PM with Jazz Band over-lapping and going from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM! High School Concert Band:  Will find all new music in their newly-assigned folders.  REMEMBER that all band essays (writing samples) are due by Wednesday! Pellegrino "Instrument Step-Up" Night will be scheduled for an evening in January.  Come try-out some semi-pro and pro-model instruments and experience the difference in your playing!  More info. to follow!
