Graduation Band & June Percussion Practices...
Graduation Band:
The CHS Graduation ceremony is slated for this coming Saturday, June 4th at 1:30 PM. All high school band members in grades 9, 10 and 11 should report to the bandroom at 1:00 PM and find their seat in the gymnasium by 1:15 PM for warm-up and tuning. Music to be performed will be Pomp and Circumstance (graduation march) and the senior selection Carry on Wayward Sun. Appropriate attire is required!
June Percussion Practices: (HS marching band)
We have just recently added (2) evening percussion practices to our June schedule. The 2 practices are:
Wednesday, June 15th 6-9 PM
Monday, June 20th 6-9 PM
The practices are for all members of both the marching battery AND the pit percussion.

As a band member, participation in graduation band is a very important end of year tradition, and is of utmost importance. Students who experience a schedule conflict must see Mr. Dettmar ahead of time with a note from a parent explaining the conflict in order to be excused! Thank you for your cooperation.
