Congratulation Trojan Pride Band

 Congratulations Trojan Pride Marching Band After a long application process we have formally been accepted by the parade committee to march in next year's NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade 🍀 on 5th ave. in New York City and nationally televised! The trip will take place from Thursday, March 16th through Sunday, March 19th and will include the parade, visits to the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island, Little Italy and Chinatown, a possible exchange concert at Mr. D's old high school and other area attractions!   Logistics and costs are being worked-out, but we assure the trip will be "very" reasonable!

REMINDERS, REMINDERS, REMINDERS...

  1.  ALL Marching band payments are due BY tomorrow, May 25th BY 3 PM .  "IF" you do not turn in your payment for fees and supplies then you will not receive them .  All orders will be placed to vendors this  Thursday and Friday, and therefore funds must be in place beforehand.  Thank you!!! 2.  Marching band parade practice will be today (Tuesday) right after school from 3-4:15 PM..  The band is playing "Grand Ol' Flag and Star Spangled Banner. 3.  Jazz band members are reminded about the Memorial Day Jazz Concert at 2 PM - right after the parade.  Jazz members should arrive at the band room no later than 1:40 PM.  Thanks! 4.  Memorial Day Check list...      9:30 AM... Load trailer      10:15 AM. ..Meet at the corner of Church & Hartford in polos and khakis      10:40 AM...  Parade      11:00...Ceremony begins

Marching Band Payments Now Due!!!

  Marching Band Payments ... ALL MARCHING BAND PAYMENTS ARE DUE IN THE BAND OFFICE BY:  THURSDAY, MAY 26TH!   There can be no exceptions, sorry !   The marching band staff will not be in town all summer, returning only a few days prior to the USA Days Parade and then a few days before the mini band camp so processing checks after May 27th will not be possible !  Thanks!!!  Have a Super Summer! GO TROJAN PRIDE!!!

  Last few weeks of school music schedule ... Mon. May 16th:  Marching Band Student Leaders Meeting - 9th Period Wed. May 18th:   Senior Music BBQ - 11:45 AM - Event entrance lawn. Wed. May 18th:  Period 9 Band Awards and Pass the Candle Ceremony (during 9th per.) Thurs. May 19th:  Drum Line Practice (for Memorial Day parade) - 6:30 - 8:00 PM) Sun. May 22nd:   Graduation Band - Report time = 2:15 PM (Gymnasium) - " NICE CLOTHES"! Mon. May 23rd:  Last Jazz Band Practice:   for Memorial Day Concert ...  Someone to Watch Over Me , Beyond the Sea , The Way you Look Tonight and This is Me Tues. May 24th:   Memorial Day Parade Band Practice - 3:00 - 4:30 PM...  " Grand Ol' Flag and Star Spangled Banner . Mon. May 30th:  Memorial Day Parade - Report Time = 10:15 AM (Corner of Church and Hartford) - Red band polos and khakis. Sat. June 18th:   USA Days Parade - Practices on Thursday and Friday prior to.  Please check the schedule on the music website. 

Getting near the end!

  Week of May 2nd - 6th Thank you to all the students and parents who helped out at the Music Mattress Fundraiser this past Saturday.  We actually did pretty good according to the mattress company! This Week... Monday:  HS Jazz Band - 7:00 - 8:30 PM ...  All 5 vocal arrangements! Thursday:  HS Drum Line & Pit Percussion - 6:30 - 8:30 PM ... Need to begin work on street parade cadence AND Grand Ol' Flag . (Please be sure you have the actual music!) Upcoming Events: Sunday, May 15th:   Spring Fine and Performing Arts Festival (All elementary, middle and high school bands and choirs!). High School Gym beginning at 3:30 PM. Sunday, May 22nd:   High School Graduation .  All HS Band and Choir members to participate! Monday, May 30th:   Centerburg Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony (10:30 AM) followed by "short" HS Jazz Band performance at 2:00 PM (HS auditorium) Saturday, June 18th:  USA Days Parade (Centerburg - polos and khakis).  Practices will be on the 16th and 17t
