  Congratulations... to all of our OMEA Solo & Ensemble Performers!  Whether you received a I,II, III, IV or V you all did a s uper job and once again represented Centerburg with class and pride.  We're all proud of you.  Sometime during the week we'll get a group picture of all of you! Also...  Keep your solos "fresh" because we're looking into a spring solo / ensemble recital.   We'll keep you posted! Monday @ 7:00 PM:  HS Jazz Band. (weather permitting). Thursday @ 7:00 PM:  HS Drum Line. ANNOUNCEMENT TO PARENTS & MARCHING BAND MEMBERS...  Check-out the "Music for All" Summer Music Symposium on the marching band portion of the website!  Mr. D. is already registered!  Let's get everybody involved!   Yeah!!!  Awesome Program!

 A HUGE thank you goes out to the music booster executive board and Mrs. Rebekah Blanton for all the painstaking hours they've spent putting together this new music website.  We, the music faculty, are really hoping this makes communication and logistics much simpler for everyone!  "IF" anyone thinks we've missed anything, or would like to see something else on the website please let us know.  We will be continuing to make posts such as registration forms, order forms, OMEA solo/ensemble information, jazz festival and honor band/choir info.etc... as well as performance videos and pictures.   Please feel free to share anything you have with us! 👍

  Hear Ye, Hear Ye.... 👀 Our WONDERFUL Music Booster Assoc. is putting the finishing Touches on our new music website and should be going live momentarily!   This week in the music department... #1  Drama rehearsals for "Newsies" is getting into gear!  See Mrs. Culbertson or Ms. Lees for more rehearsal info! #2  Middle School Percussion Night  [ for ALL drummers in 6th, 7th and 8th grade] is this Thursday from 6 - 7 PM .  Please be on time!!! #3. Trojan Pride Marching band Drum line Practice this Thursday evening from 7 - 8:30.   These practices are NOT voluntary and are the start of our Spring Training Program!  Unless you are involved in an athletic competition you need to be present "IF" you have any hopes of marching this coming season!  See ya there!!! 😇

  Happy New Year! Our "NEW" Music Department website should be posted in this location any day now!  We'll keep you posted! What will be on the new website?..... Everything! Instrumental Music Vocal Music Elementary & General Music Calendars, forms, videos, schedules, online registrations, order forms, marching drill & animated 3D Pyware, photos, weekly updates, etc...etc... "IF" the new site is not up and running by this weekend then we will continue to post on this blog until it's ready! NEXT WEEK'S MUSIC SCHEDULE: Monday, Jan. 10th:  7th & 8th Grade Evening Group Lessons begin.  All students have been given a schedule.  Please speak to your child about it!
